The Public Liability covers the Contractor for any claim made by the public other than employees for Bodily Injury or Property Damage sustained as a result of works being done by the Contractor.

This cover is offered to all businesses and it indemnifies the Insured against claims for which the Insured shall in the course of his business become legally liable to pay as compensation for:-

1. Accidental Death of or Bodily Injury to any person.

2.   Accidental Damage to property.

Your business can be legally liable to people injured and for property damaged because you or your employees didn’t use reasonable care. For  example, if a customer falls on a slippery floor and then sues you, you may be liable because you negligently failed  to provide safe premises.
